Risco Text Recognition – an OCR-type system – is especially useful for the management of various agreements, documents, bank products, insurance products etc. It transforms their content for the purposes of data management systems.
Generally speaking, an OCR system is a system that recognises text available in the form of an image. It transforms the image into the form of the text from photographs or document scans.
Risco Text Recognition is an OCR-type system that changes manually entered financial data in a semi-automatic manner. Having analysed documents saved in digital formats, recognised the text, and created an XLS file, it generates a new file to be used in the process of data feeding in a given bank system.
The system is an intranet application created with the use of the .NET technology.
A bank may use the system after it has bought a runtime licence for an application server.
